OMG, I love this recipe. My DH and I gobbled a few pieces of it as soon as I took it out of the freezer. It is so fast and easy anyone can make it. The taste is really delicious!!! You can use a variety of powdered sweeteners in this recipe, just make sure you taste it while its still in the saucepan. That way, you can adjust the sweetness to suit your tastes. — posted by Chef Joey Z.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Rice Crispy Swirls

Filed under: Latest Candy News, recipezaar — Tags: , , , , , , — Recipezaar: Candy recipes @ 2:33 pm

I got this yummy PB and chocolate crispy treat recipe from a friend of a friend and have looked on the Rice Crispy website for the same recipe and here on recipezaar and haven’t found one exactly like it…similar recipe here on receipezaar yes, but not the same and none of them jelly rolled it and cut them into swirls which is different and cute! This recipe makes 16 swirls or you can divide the recipe into two logs and make mini swirls. And the best way to roll your log is with a silicone baking sheet liner called SILPAT ( google it )…it worked REALLY well! Nothing sticks to it…nothing! — posted by Amy Duchesne

This is my favorite "candy"–and it’s guilt-free and raw, too! It’s a slight variation of a recipe from Nourishing Traditions, by Sally Fallon. — posted by Cosima

"white Christmas" Holiday Fudge

Filed under: Latest Candy News, recipezaar — Tags: , , , — Recipezaar: Candy recipes @ 1:40 pm

This is my quick and easy standby for those last minute holiday get togethers. It’s very festive looking and yummy! They’ll think you worked long and hard to produce this pretty little treat.

Hint: Mix the fruit and nuts into the melted bark soon after it’s melted. If you let it sit around for a few minutes it will start to get grainy and harden. — posted by KitchenComicRelief

Jell-O Popcorn Balls

Filed under: Latest Candy News, recipezaar — Tags: , , — Recipezaar: Candy recipes @ 6:22 pm

I have made this good treat for the kids and they always loven them. These popcorn balls are great for the holidays and they can be colored in red for Valentine’s, green for St. Patrick’s, orange for Halloween, green and red for Christmas, etc. The orange and strawberry are the flavors the kids like the best. — posted by pinky kookie

Cherry Coconut Easter Eggs (Gluten-Free)

Filed under: Latest Candy News, recipezaar — Tags: , , , , — Recipezaar: Candy recipes @ 6:22 am

Recipe from Nestle Australia website and also shown in March 2010 Australian Coeliac Magazine- featured as the cover recipe. I’m personally not a fan of Copha…..so wont be using it in my eggs. The photo on the site looks delicious – check it out on the link given below
Use gluten-free ingredients if any variations are made to suit gf diet. Cooking time does not include refrigeration . This recipe uses Australian Metric measuring cups. 1 cup =250 mls….so if you are using US cups then I would measure in an extra 1/2 to 3/4 cup of coconut. Recipe makes 36 larger or up to 50 smaller eggs. We make the smaller size as the eggs are very rich for little tummies. http://www.nestle.com.au/nestlerecipe/recipe/Cherry-Coconut-Easter-Eggs-Recipe.aspx — posted by **Jubes**
